JLG 460SJ: what it is for

The JLG 460SJ is the 16 m class diesel telescopic boom: 14.05 m platform height, 12.00 m horizontal outreach and 272 kg unrestricted capacity across the whole working envelope.

The straight telescopic boom with a 1.83 m jib and 130° articulation reaches far in a straight line and fine-tunes the position at the end of the boom, for example over a fence, a trench or a set-back façade. The turntable rotates 360° continuously, with 0.86 m tailswing.

4WD hydrostatic drive, oscillating axle, 45% gradeability and foam-filled tyres: it is the most compact site telescopic in the JLG range, at 2.31 m wide and 7.9 t. The engine is a 36.4 kW Deutz D2.9 L4.
